*रवींद्रनाथ टागोर यांचा जन्म ७ मे १८६१ रोजी कोलकातामध्ये झाला. *रवींद्रनाथ टागोर यांचा जन्म कोलकाता, पश्चिम बंगाल, भारत येथे झाला. *रवींद्रनाथ टागोर यांचा मृत्यू ७ ऑगस्ट १९४१ रोजी झाला. रवींद्रनाथ टागोर, भारतीय कवी, लेखक आणि संगीतकार असलेले, चित्रकार म्हणूनही प्रसिद्ध होते. त्यांनी १९वी शतकाच्या अखेरीस आणि २०व्या शतकाच्या प्रारंभात चित्रकला केली. त्यांची चित्रे बहुतेक वेळा आत्मज्ञान, नैसर्गिक सौंदर्य आणि भारतीय संस्कृतीचे प्रतीक असतात. टागोर यांनी विविध तंत्रांचा वापर केला, जसे की जलरंग आणि तेलरंग. त्यांच्या चित्रांमध्ये कधी कधी त्यांचे भावनात्मक अनुभव आणि जीवनाच्या गूढतेची झलक दिसते. त्यांनी १९१३ मध्ये नोबेल पारितोषिक मिळवल्यानंतर आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर चित्रकार म्हणून देखील प्रसिद्धी मिळवली. टागोर यांच्या चित्रकलेवर भारतीय लोककला, संस्कृती आणि आधुनिकता यांचा प्रभाव होता. त्यांच्या कार्यामुळे भारतीय चित्रकलेला नवीन दिशा मिळाली.
